Started in 1931, The Syracuse Garden Club is the oldest active garden club in our area. The purpose of the club is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening, floral design, conservation, and community protects in Central New York.

The garden club cultivates a love for gardens and fosters environmental awareness within our community. Our membership is dedicated to engaging in projects that promote both the community and the preservation of natural resources while making a positive impact to create a greener, healthier world.

Syracuse Garden Club is a proud member of the Garden Club of America, which provides us with a wealth of knowledge, educational meetings, conferences, publications, and programs in the fields of gardening, conservation and civic improvements. In fact, the stated mission of the GCA is "bringing clubs together to cultivate the bond among people, plants, and the environment."
